The museum on the border

The project Museum on the Border comprises four locations – four smaller museums along the Slovenia – Italy border: Museum Collection Kolodvor in the railway station of Nova Gorica, Museum Collection Pristava in the former offices of the border crossing in Pristava, the Military Watchtower in Vrtojba, and the Museum Collection Miren housed in the cemetery building in Miren.

The Pristava collection is located on the former small border crossing in Pristava. It hosts fully accessible and extremely interesting exhibition named Na šverc!, Smuggling in the Goriška Region.

The exhibition also includes an escape room which provides visitors with further information about smuggling as they play the game.

Accessible entrance	The entrance to the museum is adapted with the ramp.
Accessible toilet	The collection has adapted toilets.
Additional accessible offer	You can visit the parent Regional Museum Goriški muzej in the Kromberk Castle, which is accessible.
