Learn about the origin of the city of Piran and enjoy its present-day appearance.

Mediadom Pyrhani is a cultural centre and a multimedia museum. The centuries long formations of salt-pans and the development of the city and its mighty walls are presented in two animated movies with short documentary footage and made in 3D. Learn about the most prominent people of the city, archaeological discoveries, pillar of shame, as well as cultural institutions and traditional events.

Mediadom Pyrhani is almost fully accessible and adapted for the disabled. You can also watch the movies – the short one is 20 minutes and the long one is 40 minutes in length. Accessible parking	It is not possible to park close to Mediadom Pyrhani by car. You can either park on the parking lot close to city barriers (several parking spots are reserved for the disabled), or you can drive the car into the city. You can park anywhere in the blue zone on condition you have a disabled card properly displayed on the vehicle. Parking fee for people with disabilities is half the regular price.
Accessible entrance	Unfortunately, the path to the museum leads along a less accessible road. Being very steep, we recommend having an assistant to help. The entrance to the cultural centre and museum has small curb, but people with disabilities can enter through the official entrance, which has no architectural barriers. The basement is not accessible to people in wheelchairs. Upper floors are accessed with the use of ceiling lift operated by the staff or your assistant.
Accessible toilet	There is a disabled toilet in the Mediadom Pyrhani.
Additional accessible offer	The centre hosts a large hall for concerts, theatre performances, etc. The hall can be rented. The only obstacle is a stair on the stage.
Accessible paths	Part of the city of Piran is fully accessible, some streets are narrow and can go uphill.
