A trip to Zgonik in Italy, a small municipality just over the Slovenian border in the Italian Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, is ideal for lovers of nature, culture, wine and delicious Karst delicacies. The Bajta homestead of the Skerlj family is famous for its irresistible homemade delicacies. The brothers Andrej and Nevo, who are responsible for the hospitality of the Bajta, have decided to make it accessible to everyone who wants to spend a holiday on their tourist farm – including people with disabilities, and have made a number of adaptations to ensure comfort and easy access. From the meats of animals that graze freely in the wild Trieste Karst to the fine wines that have won the highest international awards, Bajta’s delicacies can also be bought to take home or simply ordered online.
