In the very heart of Slovenian seaside

Belvedere Hotels lay between Izola and Portorož, on a slope directly above the sea, with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Trieste.

The hotels are divided into different villas with apartments. The apartment rooms are not adapted for physically impaired, but due to the accessibility and spaciousness of the rooms, we decided to present them nonetheless. We recommend that you make your own judgement about the suitability of the destination based on your type of impairment. We recommend at least stopping by for a coffee on a wonderful terrace with the best view of the sea.

Accessible parking	There are no specially marked parking spaces for people with disabilities, but they are spacious enough, so you can park anywhere.
Accessible entrance	The hotel reception is fully accessible.
Accessible room	Both apartments in Villa Oliva and Villa Tamara are on the ground floor and fully accessible. The rooms are standard size and not adapted to people with physical disabilities. Therefore, accommodation for people with disabilities is not recommended. The rooms have their own bathroom and balcony.
Accessible bathroom	The bathrooms in the apartments are not adapted. They are small and the shower has a small edge. It is possible to get a plastic shower stool.
Accessible café or restaurant	The Belvedere resort has a restaurant and café. They are accessible through a steep ramp, so you’ll need the assistance of an attendant. The terrace offers a wonderful view on the sea and is fully accessible, just as the restaurant.
Accessible paths	All paths around villas are paved and accessible. Unfortunately, access to the hotel beach is inaccessible to people in wheelchairs. It is possible to park the car on the lower parking space, but a few stairs lead to the beach.

Restaurant With a Stunning View

The Kamin Restaurant is the gem of the Belvedere Resort. It boasts a beautiful terrace that offers a wonderful view of Izola and the Gulf of Trieste.

The restaurant offers predominantly Istrian and fish specialties, with a wide range of international dishes also being available. The basis for the preparation of excellent home-made dishes is extra virgin olive oil from local geographical origin, prepared by the company itself.
